Calechosa Bay is a beautiful and largely undeveloped bay that is rich in wildlife: fish, crustaceans, shore- and seabirds, deer and iguanas. We want to preserve this setting as far as possible, and to make careful use of the natural resources of the site.

Water conservation will be observed throughout the development, including an award-winning central sewage treatment plant (http://www.ecofluid.com/). Individual builders will be encouraged to install cisterns, solar hot water heaters and other means of conserving water and power.
